CBC’s Calgary Eyeopener Interview

My Huffington Post article on errors in e-books struck a nerve, and resulted in me being invited to join host David Gray for the Calgary, Alberta Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Radio One morning show "Calgary Eyeopener" for a discussion on why there are so many errors in e-books.

Click through to listen - David's a terrific interviewer, and I had a lot of fun!

Me, Jimmy, and Steve! (and a beautiful woman with her gun)

Last weekend, The Huffington Post featured my article, "E" Stands for "Errors" about one reason why there are so many errors in e-books at the top of the blog rail, and also with a special graphic in their slider. As a result, the blog post sparked a discussion with nearly 250 comments!

It’s “Boiling” at Laguardia!

On my way home from the 2011 Backspace Writers Conference in New York City, I found this on the shelves at the Borders bookstore in Laguardia.  Boiling Point's an airport book! (Seems appropriate that a novel about an erupting volcano should be placed next to one titled "Bad Things Happen." Yup!

Sierra Club review!

From the Sierra Club's Green Life blog. Nice!

K.L. Dionne’s second eco-thriller is the sequel to Freezing Point, a gripping novel chronicling the battle for control of Antarctica’s ice. Think Dan Brown, only with more substantial material and fewer repetitive plot devices. Boiling Point features an eccentric group of characters — including two microbiologists, a celebrity figure, and a Nobel-winning scientist intent on destroying the world — and, of course, a storyline that promises to keep readers on edge. Boiling Point's quick pacing and rapid-fire writing will satisfy any Michael Crichton fan, as well as anyone wishing for an entertaining read with global warming at its core.
