Parque Pumalin Excursion

Pumalín Park is a 3,250 km² private nature reserve in the Palena Province of Chile, created by the United States environmental foundation The Conservation Land Trust, which is endowed and led by the American business magnate Douglas Tompkins (North Face, Esprit). Chaitén Volcano lies within the boundaries of the park.

BOILING POINT: The Movie

An original short film inspired by the novel featuring the volcanologist Max and his cameraman Denis during the initial eruption of Chaitén Volcano. Filmed and directed by Student Emmy Award-winning independent filmmaker Andrew Sokolowski.
