I’m thrilled to see Freezing Point selling so well in the UK!
Freezing Point gets a great UK review!
LOVE this review for Freezing Point from Amazon.uk: I bought Karen Dionne’s Freezing Point on my Kindle for $3.99 and couldn’t figure out why it was so underpriced. This book is up there with all the best. Terrific writing, a plot that keeps you on your toes, and characters that jump off the page. The [...]

New article in Writer’s Digest Magazine!
The January issue of Writers Digest Magazine with my article on backstory is finally here! You can order the issue online, or pick up a copy at your favorite bookstore. “Weaving a Seamless Backstory by Karen Dionne Behind every well-developed novel lies an important backstory—but including too much of it too soon can halt your story’s [...]
Audio version of Freezing Point picks up a fantastic review!
(Though I’ll admit my heart dropped for a moment when I read the review’s title below!) “Freezing Point will have your blood running cold” I picked this book up on the recommendation of James Rollins. He mentioned that he had read this one and really liked it so I thought I’d give it a try. I [...]

It’s “Boiling” at Laguardia!
On my way home from the 2011 Backspace Writers Conference in New York City, I found this on the shelves at the Borders bookstore in Laguardia. Boiling Point’s an airport book! (Seems appropriate that a novel about an erupting volcano should be placed next to one titled “Bad Things Happen.” Yup!
Sierra Club review!
From the Sierra Club’s Green Life blog. Nice! K.L. Dionne’s second eco-thriller is the sequel to Freezing Point, a gripping novel chronicling the battle for control of Antarctica’s ice. Think Dan Brown, only with more substantial material and fewer repetitive plot devices. Boiling Point features an eccentric group of characters — including two microbiologists, a celebrity figure, [...]
